CW: illness, death, loss
(Spoilers for demo) You work in a small cute cafe (that's only open for a month) in a world where governments have fallen down due to the kemono virus that makes humans get animal ears and tail. Even though the game looks very cute and comfy and innocent, it's a emotional rollercoaster. (Did I tell you that people with the virus die after they get the tail?) So you're living in a small commune where everyone has that virus (even your little sister), some of them who are near their death and know it, and are just living their day as usual... It's that kind of story that's very emotional and makes you think about life... At least you can give them good last moments in the cafe before they go on in their journey...

I love the general vibe this game has, and it's very fun to play! Also the ending theme is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

Touhou Mystia's Izakaya

A Touhou cooking game that took me way too long to beat. It's quite fun and also enjoyable for people who don't know anything about Touhou (also a great game to learn about all the characters), but it can also be quite challenging sometimes.

Who doesn't love to do their work a day or two before the deadline? (This happened to me only once, okay?)
Funnily enough, I played and completed this game when I also had a deadline to do (perfect timing, I guess), but I was mostly done, so it wasn't so bad for me. But for Penny, who hasn't done any progress yet in her project and has a deadline in two days (even though she had a few weeks time), it's a really stressful situation for her. The story has many twists, and it also has an strong anti-AI theme. Overall a nice short visual novel.

ADEN

When I bought this game, I bought it because it looked cute, not because it was going to be a psychological horror game. Still enjoyed it and found it to be a unique experience (similar to Oneshot). I won't tell what the game is about, since I think it'd be best to go blind in it (and because I don't fully understand the story myself, only the gist).

You work in a sci-fi bar and make cocktails for your guests. Sounds boring at first, but it's actually quite fun. I really love some characters there (especially Dorothy, she's really cute <3), and the story is also quite interesting (it's a visual novel). Even though I'm generally not a huge fan of sci-fi (the type where the world is completely different from ours), I really liked this one. And the music is also amazing.

"You have only one shot." A game that everyone should've played at one point. It's small, the character looks cute, and it's great. Since it's better to go blind in this game, I won't tell what it's about. But I definitly recommend this game. (Or the World Machine Edition, which I guess works better on console) One small tip that I think many people don't know: After you've played it once, there's still another ending. Don't miss that~ :>

Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
Released: 2007
Played: ???
Oh Super Mario Galaxy... It was my first Mario game, and I feel very nostalgic about it. Especially the music in the game, it's so great~. And the setting being in space is also very great. Probably my favorite game of all time. And no I won't decide between the first and second game, I like both. Although I also find it funny how nowadays I don't really like Mario games. Interesting how my taste has changed...

First game I completed on the Steam Deck! It's a small cozy game about being a post person delivering letters. It may be a bit buggy, but otherwise it was a nice experience.
